Golden Knights Take Series Lead
Jonathan Marchessault Leads the Way
The Vegas Golden Knights took a commanding 4-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night, thanks to a 4-1 victory at Ball Arena.
Jonathan Marchessault led the way for the Golden Knights, scoring two goals and adding an assist. William Karlsson and Mark Stone also scored for Vegas.
The Avalanche got their only goal from Mikko Rantanen in the second period.
Andrei Vasilevskiy made 31 saves for the Golden Knights, while Darcy Kuemper made 29 saves for the Avalanche.
