Bridgerton Season 3: Daphne's Absence Causes a Shocking Problem
The Duke Is Missing
While The Duke - played by Regé-Jean Page - didn't even appear in season 2, his absence has caused a surprising problem in season 3. The Bridgerton season 3 trailer revealed plenty of tidbits of information about the upcoming season. And even though you won't see Daphne or the Duke on screen, that doesn't mean they're not still having an impact.
Daphne's Absence
Daphne's absence is felt in a number of ways in season 3. First, her brother Anthony is still struggling to come to terms with her marriage to the Duke. He's constantly comparing himself to his brother-in-law and feeling like he's not good enough. This is leading to some serious problems in his own relationships.
Second, Daphne's absence has left a hole in the Bridgerton family. She was the glue that held the family together, and without her, they're all feeling a bit lost. This is especially true for her younger sister, Eloise, who is struggling to find her place in the world.
The Duke's Impact
Even though the Duke is not physically present in season 3, his impact is still being felt. Daphne's marriage to him has changed the entire Bridgerton family, and they're all still adjusting to the new reality. This is leading to some unexpected problems, and it's going to be interesting to see how the family copes in the upcoming season.
